A leaked draft of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s fifth climate assessment report finds that evidence of a warming climate is unequivocal. The October 5 draft, which is scheduled to for a 2013 release, shows that it is highly likely that human activities are responsible for more than half of the surface temperature increase that has been observed since the 1950s, and concludes that GHGs are incredibly likely to have contributed between 0.6 and 1.4 degrees Celsius of warming between 1951 and 2010.
