At FSA’s Annual Public meeting:  

  • Lord Turner spoke on the financial crisis, FSA’s changes over the past two years and its work on issues not directly related to the crisis and on how FSA looks forward in times of political uncertainty;  
  • Hector Sants spoke on FSA’s new supervisory approach, its management of the financial crisis, its proposals for prudential changes to bank regulation and conduct, capability and market priorities; and  
  • the chairmen of the Consumer Panel, Practitioner Panel and Smaller Businesses Practioner Panels added their perspectives and concerns.
