The Home Office has published statutory guidance for police collaboration.  The guidance includes sections on: the legal framework for policing; the decision process for collaboration; legal requirements for collaboration; accountability; governance by policing bodies; powers of the Secretary of State; RIPA and collaborations; models of collaboration; funding; workforce arrangements; legal duties and liability for breach; complaints, conduct and performance, procurement, and an introduction and a glossary.  This guidance was published under the power in section 23F of the Police Act 1996 and replaces the version published in March 2010.
