On November 17 enXco closed on a $350 million club financing for the 150-MW Shiloh II Wind Energy Project in Solano County, California. The project is located in the Montezuma Hills Wind Resource Area, one of the windiest and most viable regions in California for wind projects. Lenders include NORD/LB, Dexia and Crédit Industriel et Commercial. Investors include J.P. Morgan, New York Life and Wells Fargo. Construction began in May 2008 and commercial operation is expected to begin soon. Output will be delivered to Pacific Gas and Electric under a 20-year power purchase agreement.
