Pursuant to Statutory Instrument 344/2005, the Irish Revenue Commissioners – in particular, the Customs Division thereof – are the nominated authority responsible for the implementation of EU Customs Regulation (1383/2003) and Commission Regulation 1891/2004 (as amended by Regulation 1172/2007) in Ireland.
