David Danielson, new assistant secretary of the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, said last week that the office will be reorganized to focus on transportation as well as renewable power and end-use efficiency. The agency was appropriated $2.2 billion in fiscal year 2011, making it the second-largest nondefense-related agency in the department.
