The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”) had announced that employers were required to use the new I-9 form on February 2, 2009. However, on January 29, the USCIS announced that the use of the new I-9 form is postponed until April 3, 2009. In the meantime, employers should continue to use the form dated June 5, 2007.
