Multi-State Social Networking and Online Safety Top States’ Agendas At this year's National Association of Attorney General ("NAAG") conference, AG McCollum of Florida led a discussion that included Microsoft and eGuardian. Collectively, they are working with various regulatory agencies as well as prominent Internet companies to establish online safety measures at the state level and pushing for more accountability of various entities who provide online services to the public. Online safety is a big issue this year in the NAAG, so much so that the current President of NAAG, Patrick Lynch of Rhode Island, dubbed this "The Year of the Child" and is holding a Presidential Initiative in Philadelphia in May to discuss these and other online issues that affect children.
