IOSCO hosts meetings of emerging markets and Asia-Pacific regulators. The International Organization of Securities Commissions summarized the discussions of its Growth and Emerging Markets (GEM) Committee and its Asia-Pacific Regional Committee (APRC) at an annual meeting. Among other matters, the GEM Committee discussed sustainable market-based financing and capital markets, liquidity challenges, and cyber resilience. The APRC discussed regional regulatory and supervisory issues, including initial coin offerings, capacity building issues, and the impact of EU regulations on Asia-Pacific markets.
