On September 4, 2013, the U.S. International Trade Commission issued a press release announcing their vote to institute an investigation of Certain Point-To-Point Network Communication Devices and Products Containing Same (Inv. No. 337-TA-892).

The investigation is based on an August 1, 2013 complaint filed by Straight Path IP Group, Inc. of Glen Allen, Virginia alleging violation of Section 337 in the importation into the U.S. and sale of certain point-to-point network communications devices and products containing same that infringe one or more claims of U.S. Patent Nos. 6,009,469; 6,108,704; and 6,131,121.  See our August 2, 2013 post for more details on the complaint.
