On 23 August, the CC published a full report of its provisional findings in its market investigation into movies on pay TV. The investigation followed a referral from Ofcom on 4 August 2010. The report sets out a number of concerns in relation to the pay TV market and e.g. in relation to the first subscription pay TV window and barriers that exist to the creation of a movie product able to compete effectively with Sky’s movie products.
