On 16 May 2011, the Government published its Consultation on Modern Workplaces. This consultation proposes an extension of the right to request flexible working, a new system of shared flexible parental leave, revisions to dealing with annual leave under the Working Time Regulations 1998 and compulsory pay audits for employers found guilty of pay discrimination.
