The Office of Fair Trading (OFT) has published a consultation paper entitled Review of consumer credit licensing fees.
In this consultation paper the OFT consults on a proposed revision to the charging structure for consumer credit licensing fees. The consultation paper provides background to the licensing regime and the OFT’s views on what it should consider when developing any revised charging system. The consultation paper also highlights some of the criteria that might be chosen to differentiate between different classes of licence applicant.
The deadline for comments on the consultation paper is 11 March 2010.
