The changes emphasize the importance of outreach and recruitment. The agency has added an additional resource for contractors in the form of the Disability and Veterans Community Resources Directory. This is a searchable and downloadable database which provides contact information for groups and organizations that provide assistance with recruiting, training, and hiring veterans and individuals with disabilities. It isn't exhaustive, but it is a good start for contractors who want to make certain they comply with the stricter requirements that have now taken effect. The directory is available here.
