The Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS) has published a consultation paper on implementation guidelines relating to three aspects of the revised large exposures regime. They are as follows:

  • definition of "connected clients" and in particular, the concept of "inter- connectedness";
  • calculation of exposure values for schemes with exposure to underlying assets; and
  • reporting requirements.

 The Consultation runs until the 11 September 2009 and a public hearing will be held in London on 7 September 2009 to allow interested parties to share their views with CEBS.
