The House of Lords has launched an enquiry, open until 24 June, on the impact that an increasingly integrated Eurozone, along the lines of proposals for a Genuine Economic and Monetary Union, would have for the wider Single Market. Among other questions raised in the call for evidence, the Lords ask about the likely indirect impacts on the UK, in terms of its ability to attract investment and of its financial sector.
