The Association of Investment Companies (AIC) has published guidance for closed-ended investment companies listed under Chapter 15 of the Listing Rules.

The guidance is designed to help closed-ended investment companies develop investment policies that comply with the new requirements under Chapter 15 of the Listing Rules and provide the best quality information for shareholders.

The new Chapter 15 requirements have been in force since 28 September 2007 and require a closed-ended investment company to publish an investment policy on its application for listing and annually thereafter in its annual report.
