The administrators of collapsed forex currency broker Alpari (UK) have announced that the creditors’ meeting will be held on 12 March.  See the link below for further details.

Alpari went into administration following the Swiss National Bank’s decision to remove the cap on the Swiss Franc which had been pegged at €1.20. This resulted in an immediate rise of 40% in the value of the Swiss Franc and left Alpari with overwhelming debts on outstanding trades.

The administrators of Alpari has set up a portal for the 83,000 former customers to make claims to recover money due to them. The Financial Services Compensation Scheme has also confirmed that Alpari claimants can indicate that they wish to make a comensation claim on the creditor portal.  See link below.
