The Clean Ohio Fund, which has been one of the more successful state sponsored brownfields redevelopment funding programs in the U.S., is streamlining its process. The process will create a single brownfield program that combines Clean Ohio's Revitalization Fund and Assistance Fund, managed through a collaboration of the Ohio Department of Development's Office of Redevelopment, JobsOhio, and the Clean Ohio Council.
Earlier this year, the Ohio General Assembly approved $15 million for brownfield grant funding. JobsOhio will begin accepting requests on October 1, 2012 for brownfield project funding. Click here to read the announcement.
