The Government approved the Decree-Law number 131/2013, of 11th of September, that proceeded to a new amendment to the Government-Law number 290/2009, of 12th of October, amended by the Law number 24/2011, of 16th of June, in order to extend to the bodies of public nature some of the funds available for employment policies and for the qualification of disable and incapacitated people. The Decree-Law number 290/2009, of 12th of October, created the Employment and Support to the Qualification of Disabled and Incapacitated People Programme and created measures to promote employment. This new amendment also allows the access of promoting entities of public law nature to the financial supports, reducing the costs supported by those, having in consideration the importance that these jobs represent, especially at a local level, to the disabled and fully incapacitated, and also persons with reduced working capacity. Furthermore, the new diploma proceeds to new adjustments, like the procedure of evaluation of the working capacity of the candidates, having in mind its simplification.
