Primary care providers receive financing under the new model

On 1 July 2018 the healthcare financing reform was launched on a primary care level. Primary care providers which had signed agreements with the National Health Service of Ukraine, a newly established authority responsible for allocating financing for medical services, received financing based on unified capitation rates. The Ministry of Health of Ukraine ("MOH") reports that 152 healthcare facilities received financing under the new model.

Meanwhile, the National Health Service has announced a new round of signing agreements with primary care providers that have not yet entered into agreements with the authority.
