CEIOPS has reported to the Commission on supervisory powers. Its report discussed:
- powers held by national supervisory authorities;
- main differences between powers;
- other supervisory and sanctioning powers of national authorities;
- actual use of supervisory and sanctioning powers; and
- objectives under national laws of EU supervisory authorities.
CEIOPS found a high level of consistency in some areas, such as core supervisory activities, but less in others, such as rule making powers.
