LSB has carried out a themed review of how firms that use debt collectors handle customers who are in financial difficulties. It reminded subscribers to its lending code that they are responsible for their agents' compliance. It carried out eight reviews, four of which were completely compliant. It found minor compliance issues in three further reviews, but rated one review "red". It will take action where appropriate, and will carry out a further themed review in the first half of 2014.
