A Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) pilot program between the UK and China is being launched on 1 July 2014. From this date it will be possible for an applicant of a UK patent application, who has an allowable claim set, to request accelerated processing of a co-pending Chinese patent application, and vice versa.
