The Central Bank announced the appointment of Derville Rowland as Director of Enforcement following a competitive selection process. Ms Rowland joined the Central Bank in May 2004, and was appointed Head of Enforcement in June 2010. She joined the Central Bank from ACCA, London where she held the position of Regulatory Counsel. Prior to that, Ms Rowland was a member of Chambers and practised as a barrister in London and on the South Eastern Circuit. Ms Rowland is a qualified barrister in both the UK and Irish jurisdictions.
