As of July 2017, the Central American Single Declaration (DUCA) will enter into force in El Salvador, in order to comply with the Association Agreement between Central America and the European Union, by which it was established that the signatory parties are to incorporate in their respective legislation and customs procedures the use of a single administrative document.

The main purpose is that DUCA integrates: the Single Customs Declaration(DUA for its acronym in Spanish), the Goods Declaration (DM for its acronym in Spanish), The Central American Single Customs Form (FAUCA for its acronym in Spanish) and the Single Transit Declaration (DUT for its acronym in Spanish). DUCA will initially be used for intra-regional trade in goods; and later ahead the Declaration of Goods will be included, meaning that for export clearance in El Salvador, only the DUCA will be used.
