A new business engagement inter-ministerial group, chaired by the Business Secretary Sajid Javid and bringing together ministers from across government to coordinate engagement with the business community, was established yesterday 30 June 2016.
According to a press release by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, the new group will meet next week. The group will provide an opportunity for ministers to discuss the views, thoughts and concerns from businesses across the UK and ensure their concerns are represented, and will feed into the new EU Referendum Unit established within the Cabinet Office.
