The FSA has published on its website the results of its review of firms' approaches to time barring mortgage endowment complaints. The FSA found that in many of the time barred complaint rejections that were reviewed, the firms decisions were based on procedures related to “red” ABI code letters and appeared to be fair and in accordance with the Dispute Resolution: Compliants handbook (DISP).
