A year after the HSE’s myth busters panel was set up HSE Chair, Judith Hackitt, has outlined an analysis of the first 100 cases that were submitted. The first case involved an allotment owner who was wrongly told to remove a swing on the grounds of health and safety. Of the first 100 cases submitted, 38 were found to be based on either poor customer service or to cover an excuse for making an unpopular decision. The HSE has dedicated part of its website to myth busting which can be accessed here.
