Treasury makes new sanctions regulations: Treasury is creating and updating enforcement regimes for various EU sanctions measures. It has made Regulations in respect of Iraq to take effect from 2 July, and in respect of Sudan, Belarus and the Republic of Guinea, all of which take effect from 4 July. It has also laid Regulations covering sanctions on the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Lebanon and Syria, and Liberia.
