The Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand (IPONZ) will be closed for transaction of business on Friday 7 December 2012 (New Zealand time).
IPONZ will be closed to complete technical work in preparation for its new case management system for patents and plant variety rights, and for updates to the trade marks system for the implementation of the Madrid Protocol. The new systems will be online from Monday 10 December 2012.
Any IPONZ deadlines on 7 December will now fall on 10 December.
The closure does not include the Plant Variety Rights Office, which will remain open on 7 December.
