An early day motion has been tabled in Parliament calling for the annulment of the Collective Redundancies and Transfer of Undertakings  (Protection of Employment) (Amendment) Regulations 2014, which came into force on 31 January. The  motion was sponsored by Ed Miliband and has so far been signed by 17 members of parliament. It is unlikely to be passed, as the Labour party does not hold a majority in the  House of Commons.
