Three suspects were arrested by the National Crime Agency’s (NCA) Complex Financial Crime team.
The bounce back loan scheme was introduced in May 2020 to give low-interest finance between £2,000 and £50,000 to small and medium sized companies.
The NCA believes the three suspects used false data and documents to make over £6 million in bogus claims. The suspects have been released pending investigation.
