We would like to remind Tier 2 sponsors of the restrictions regarding employing Tier 4 graduates. Although students with work rights can work full time during semester breaks, including the extra period of leave given at the end of their visa, Tier 4 students are unable to take up a permanent full time vacancy whilst under Tier 4 leave.  However, once a Tier 2 employer has assigned a Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) and the individual has submitted an in-time leave to remain application, the student can commence permanent full time employment.
