On September 13, 2012, the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) hosted a combined heat and power (CHP) workshop regarding stand-by rates, which are utility rates that a customer pays in order to receive power at times when its own distributed generation is unexpectedly unavailable or for maintenance reasons.  The CHP workshop included several presentations by PUCO staff members, electric distribution utility companies and representatives from various customer classes.  To view the podcast or for more information, please visit the PUCO’s CHP website here.
