The House Ways and Means Committee will hold a hearing October 25 on the U.S.-China economic relationship, focusing on trade practices and non-tariff barriers that hinder U.S. companies from competing in the domestic Chinese market.

The House Natural Resources Committee will hold an oversight hearing October 27 entitled “Gulf Coast Recovery: President Obama’s BP Compensation Fund, How Is It Working?”

The same day, the Investigations and Oversight Subcommittee and Energy and Environment Subcommittee of the House Science, Space and Technology Committee will hold a joint hearing to review the draft recommendations of the Blue Ribbon Commission on America’s Nuclear Future.

Also on the same day, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee will hold a hearing on the Environmental Protection Agency's Utility Mercury and Air Toxics Standards (MACT) rule.
