Treasury publishes AML advisory: Treasury has published an advisory notice on anti-money laundering (AML) measures following the latest Financial Action Task Force (FATF) plenary reported in FReD. It says firms should apply enhanced due diligence measures in relation to Algeria, North Korea, Ecuador, Indonesia, Iran and Myanmar and should take appropriate action to minimise risks in dealings relating to Afghanistan, Albania, Angola, Argentina, Cambodia, Cuba, Ethiopia, Iraq, Kuwait, Lao PDR, Namibia, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uganda, Yemen and Zimbabwe.
