The Supreme Court of Canada will hear an appeal of the decision in Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd v Wilson, 2015 FCA 17, where the Federal Court of Appeal held that Part III of the Canada Labour Code does not protect non-unionized employees from being dismissed without just cause. The Supreme Court of Canada granted the application for leave to appeal on July 9, 2015, without reasons (Wilson v Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd, [2015] SCCA No 114).
