Singham and national partner Nicholas Chan examine China’s recently enacted Anti-Monopoly Law in their article “Towards a Functioning Economy: China’s New Antitrust Law.” Appearing in the October 2007 issue of Hong Kong Lawyer, the article analyzes the historical lessons in Europe and the United States China considered when implementing this law, as well as the importance of the law in establishing an environment for people-centered growth in China before delving into an analysis of its specific provisions.
