The Government has published three sets of draft regulations relating to the new shared parental leave ("SPL") and pay regime, which is expected to apply to parents of children born or adopted after 5 April 2015.  Please click here for our previous alerts on the Government's proposals.  The draft regulations contain detailed provisions about the entitlement to SPL and pay, the process for requesting and taking leave (which appear to be fairly complex) and the rights that parents have during SPL and on return to work.  The Government is currently seeking views on the draft regulations.  A copy of the draft regulations can be found here.
