On 15 December 2019, the closing lecture was delivered at Asters Arbitration Moot Court School 2019. About 20 students of the leading Ukrainian law schools from Kyiv, Kharkiv and Lviv took part in this new educational programme aimed at developing skills of young lawyers participating in the most prestigious international arbitration moot courts.

The 4-day's School agenda consisted of two main courses: Legal Writing and Oral Advocacy, and featured three international high-profile speakers: Dr. Affef Ben Mansour, Andrew C. Burr, and Olena Gulyanytska.

"I was thrilled to meet and work with the Ukrainian mooties for the 2020 international commercial and investment arbitration moot courts. I was impressed by their engagement and their thirst to learn. I look forward to hearing on their achievement in 2020 and after. I am so grateful to Svitlana Chepurna, Olena Gulyanytska and Kateryna Shokalo for their invitation", comments Dr. Affef Ben Mansour.

"The inaugural Asters Arbitration Moot Court School has set an extremely high standard for future such events. Rarely before, has this contributor had the pleasure of addressing such a thoroughly committed and engaged group of moot students, each fully-prepared to contribute intelligent and searching interventions and each eager to squeeze as much out of my demonstration ‘oranges’ as they possibly could!", Andrew C. Burr comments.

"I was very impressed by the standard of the participants. This bodes well for the future of international arbitration in Ukraine", Olena Gulyanytska says.
