Under the current Measures for the Reduction or Postponement of Payment of Patent Fees, this benefit is limited to the first three years of a patent's life.

Customs IP Recordations

Further to Notice 2136, the Ministry of Finance also decided in another notice (财税[2015]102 号, "Notice 102") to suspend the collection of fees for the recordation of IP rights with the General Administration of Customs from 1 November 2015.
