The latest issue of the LSB Bulletin covers the results of LSB’s thematic reviews into the opt-out from unarranged overdrafts, credit assessment and the use of credit reference agencies, and credit card best practice guidance. It also comments on the recent review into whether subscribers to the Lending Code (Code) analyse in what measure complaints they receive have their root cause in breaches of the Code. The Bulletin also reminds of the new obligations on sale of debt to a third party.
Going forward, LSB’s work will include testing the conduct of credit card providers when they receive a report on an unauthorised card transaction. (Source: LSB Bulletin No. 6)
