The Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services (MDIFS) is seeking information regarding responses to the Covid-19 pandemic from all Michigan consumer finance licensees and registrants. MDIFS is seeking information on whether the licensee or registrant is temporarily or permanently reducing any services provided in the office locations or by the business and whether the licensee or registrant has implemented a program to allow staff to work remotely, among other things. Licensees and registrants should send the responses to DIFS-OCFInquiriesandInfo@michigan.gov no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, March 20, 2020, with a summary of all actions taken by the institution in direct response to the Covid-19 pandemic conditions.
