The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) has published its annual report for 2013/14. The report highlights that, for the year ending June 2014, the OAIC dealt with a record number of matters, with complaints up by 183% on the previous year. This is likely to be the last OAIC annual report as a Bill currently before Parliament proposes the abolition of the OAIC by31 December this year.
