The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) will host two workshops each in Oklahoma City on Oct. 29 and 30, and in Little Rock, Arkansas, on Nov. 5 and 6. The "Risk Assessment for Directors" and "Credit Risk: A Director's Focus" workshops are designed exclusively for directors of national community banks and federal savings associations that are supervised by the OCC. "The risk assessment workshop focuses on the OCC’s approach to risk-based supervision and ways directors can effectively measure, monitor, identify, and control risks. The credit risk workshop focuses on the loan portfolio and the roles of the board and management, as well as current industry trends and news."
