Quebec’s Autorité des marchés financiers warned Quebec consumers against getting involved with an initial coin offering of PlexCoin, which is being marketed as a new virtual currency. AMF previously obtained ex parte orders against PlexCorps, PlexCoin, DL Innov inc., Gestio inc. and Dominic Lacroix, preventing them from soliciting Quebec investors and requiring them to close related websites.
