On 6 February 2014, EIOPA published a report on the implementation of the Test-Achats ruling into national law by EU Member States. Almost all of the 28 Member States had implemented the ruling into national legislation by the 21 December 2012 deadline. National implementing legislation was pending in the remaining Member States as at the date of the report. Interestingly, the report notes that both Iceland and Norway intend to implement the ruling into national law on a voluntary basis.
