European Union, Portugal July 15 2019

Dirctive 2019/770 and Directive 2019/771 were published on May 22, 2019, relating respectively to contracts for the supply of digital content and services and contracts for the sale of goods. These Directives aim, in a complementary manner, to improve the working of the internal market, ensuring greater consumer protection through the introduction of rules on the conformity of the goods, means of redress in the event of nonconformity of goods and procedures for the exercise of such means.
