During the keynote address at America's Natural Gas Alliance's Think About Energy Summit in Columbus last week, former U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Steven Chu discussed the benefits of extracting natural gas from beneath Ohio and the methods being employed to do it in an environmentally sound way, WOSU.org reports. Chu also remarked that wind energy has great potential for Ohio, particularly off the Great Lakes.
